With only 3 weeks to go until 2024, are you prepared?

As we approach the New Year, it’s crucial to ensure that your hospitality business is not just keeping pace but staying ahead…

Your To Do List:

  1. Know When Your Renewal Is Up

More often than not customers fall into out of contract rates which can significantly increase business costs. By knowing when your renewal is up, you can avoid this by instead entering into fixed contracts.

  1. Upgrade Merchant Services

Save time & money by upgrading your merchant services. Contactless payments, efficient point of sale systems, and secure transactions are just a few of the features we provide.

  1. Carry Out An Energy Self Assessment

Utilising our FREE Energy Self Assessment tool, take some time to look around your business at areas which could be improved. You may be shocked at some savings you can make by making small changes to the way your premise is run.

  1. Consider Upgrading Your Broadband

Broadband is key to every business but if it’s slow or breaks down, can also impact every area if your business. We work alongside Daisy Communications, to provide our customers with exceptional speed at excellent prices.

This week the market saw some significant commodity cost drops – particularly for March 2024.

nationwide energyConsequently, prices are fairly level through to October 2024. This is the strongest indicator yet that the market is confident that we will get through this winter with sufficient gas.

Regrettably, experience shows that the suppliers don’t pass on the full benefit of these savings to customers. Over the next few days we expect any reductions to be incorporated into contract offers.

If you are due to renew in the next 4 months, this may be the ideal time to do so.

Introducing, Eve

Nationwide Energy has created an apprenticeship programme that recognises the complexity of our activity where we are placing our customers business with a wide variety of suppliers all of whom have different processes and requirements.

The apprenticeship gives the opportunity to develop the knowledge, capability and critical thinking skills to manage these processes.

We are delighted to have recruited Eve as our first apprentice. She had been at studying History at

University in Liverpool. However, after 2 years she decided to take a different direction and look for

a more practice based learning opportunity.

While in Liverpool, Eve had worked in a variety of pubs, most recently as a chef. Consequently, she understands many hospitality challenges including the need to conserve energy while still producing a great customer experience.

Eve said: “I’m really delighted to be joining Nationwide Energy as an apprentice and look forward to supporting so many pubs who are our customers.”

In her spare time Eve enjoys art, expressing this through spray painting boards for music events and creating sculptures out of clay.
