Office Renovation Week 2: Work Begins

Week two marks the start of progress, with materials arriving and the first installations underway. Early changes are beginning to shape the future workspace.
Following our first look at the building last week, the second week of the renovation has started to bring some early activity to the new office.

With plans beginning to take shape, this week marked the start of preparations on site. Materials, fixtures and equipment have begun arriving, and the first stages of improvement work are now underway.
One of the first moments of the week was Dean arriving at the property, ready to begin another stage of the project. While there is still plenty to do, the building is slowly starting to move from an empty shell towards something that resembles a working environment.
Early Signs of Progress
This week has been focused on the early stages of getting the building ready for renovation. Deliveries of materials, fixtures and equipment have started to arrive, marking the transition from planning into action.

While much of the ground floor remains unchanged, this contrast highlights how much work is still to come. Some areas are yet to be touched, providing a clear reference point for the transformation that will take place over the coming weeks.

Moving through the building and up to the first floor, there are already small but noticeable shifts. From this level, there is also a clear view of our current office, offering a unique perspective on how close the move will be once the renovation is complete.
These early steps may seem minor, but they are an essential part of preparing the space for more significant changes.
Installing Lighting and Ceiling Tiles
The most visible progress this week has taken place on the upper floor, where initial work has begun on installing ceiling tiles and new lighting.

Although this is one of the earlier stages of refurbishment, it plays an important role in shaping the overall workspace. Lighting in a commercial building is not only about visibility, but also energy usage and efficiency.

Well-planned lighting systems can help reduce electricity consumption while creating a more effective working environment. As businesses look to manage energy more efficiently, lighting upgrades are often one of the first and most impactful improvements made within a space.

These installations represent one of the first clear steps towards turning the building into a practical and fully functioning office.
Looking Ahead
Although much of the building still has work to be done, this week marks the beginning of visible progress.

From the arrival of materials to the first installations taking place, the renovation is now moving forward step by step.

There is still plenty ahead as we continue preparing the space, and we look forward to sharing further updates as more areas of the building begin to take shape. Stay tuned for the next renovation update.
