Customer Story: The Otters Head, Glenrothes

One of our brewery BDM’s got in touch with our Senior Consultant, Mark McCormack, and asked him to visit The Otters Head in Glenrothes to have a look at their current energy situation.

The operators had been paying a large amount to decrease an outstanding bill but had recently stopped offering food and thought the usage would have dropped.

They were 6 months from renewal so Mark was able to secure them a 40% discount.

Mark also took readings and called British Gas Lite, managing to adjust the direct debit and get them a cheque for £190.

Further to this, Mark advised that the upcoming DD of £650 which was due to come out the following day could be stopped by the bank, which meant the money stayed in their pocket and not the suppliers.

Mark then emailed our billing team with a query for electricity and contacted the faults team for the phone supplier, both issues are now in the process of being resolved.
